Voice of Duty has launched a direct competitor to one of the most popular games in the world today and is stretching the boundaries of the Battle Royale genre. Call of Duty: Warzone lets 150 players connect to a giant map, built in the familiar shooting game style, and fight each other until the last one is alive. And if that doesn’t get you excited – Warzone is available for download right now on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, all without having to purchase the original full title, which puts it as PortNight’s biggest and biggest competitor to date.

There are two game modes available from day one: the Battle Royal mode, which is very similar to that of Fortnight, and the “loot” mode. The first situation, as mentioned, will “land” 150 players on a map where they will fight each other. As the battle progresses, players will have to move towards a specific area, as a huge cloud of gas will start from which they will have to dodge – just like Portnight or PUBG. In the second situation, players will have to collect as much money and possessions as possible by stealing from the enemy and finding objects on the new map the company has created for Warzone. And although there is only one map right now, it seems to be able to provide players with hours of enjoyment with ease. According to Activision, the company behind Voice of Duty, the map has 300 different points of interest, ranging from crowded towns to vast open countryside in size.
Players will be able to create groups of up to three participants to fight the other people deployed across the map. Thanks to the in-game Crossplay feature, members can play together even if they play through different consoles. This means that PlayStation players will also be able to play with Exbox players. In fact, Warzon presents elements very similar to those in the previous Modern Warfare series, but is different in the way players come back to life during the game. When a player dies, he is transported to an area called the Gulag, which is made up of prison cells, where they compete in gunfire for the option to return to life and the active battle.
