The Ministry of National Education (MoNE) decided to postpone the examinations for open education institutions to be held on March 21-22. According to the information received from the MoNE officials, the Ministry has previously canceled the examination of open education institutions to be held abroad due to coronavirus measures.

Depending on the Central Exam Implementation Schedule published by the Ministry of National Education, the exams held in 3 semesters in December, March and July will be held in September. The ministry was doing additional exams in this context, usually in September, when needed. Therefore, the delayed exam is planned to be combined with an additional exam to be held in September, including abroad.

“WE WILL DO IN DOMESTIC AND ABROAD IN THE SAME DATES”

Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk said in a statement on the subject:

“As you know, we review all our processes within the framework of coronavirus measures and take the necessary measures. In this context, we have decided to postpone the open education institutions exams to be held on March 21 and 22, with approximately 3 million students and over 400 thousand teachers. As a precaution, we have already canceled the exams of these exams abroad. Therefore, this exam will not be held both at home and abroad. Our friends have also completed the study of when this exam can be held. We will combine this exam with the additional exam date we will hold in September and we will hold the postponed exam on the same dates in September at home and abroad ”
