June Ehrlich for the Davis Cup: “Trust Zuckerman and Fattal”

Freshman captain Yoni Ehrlich together with coaches Yoav Shav and Yoav Ben Zvi decided that on Friday, Ben Fattal and Daniel Zuckerman will be promoted to the only games.

Daniel Zuckerman will be up for the first game to open at 11 a.m., facing off against Jam Ilkill. Fattal and Altog Jalikbilak will face the second game. On Saturday starting at 10:00, the couples game will be played, in which Ehrlich and Zuckerman are expected to play against Sarp Erbigon and Yanka Erel. After that, the two other individual games will be held.

“I trust Ben to bring his experience on the clay, having spent a lot of time practicing on that surface in Spain,” Ehrlich said, adding on Zuckerman: “I trust Daniel to bring the fighting spirit and confidence he has accumulated in the last two years to the United States.”

Daniel Zuckerman shared his excitement for the tackle: “We all feel ready, we are confident, we are all playing well. I am very excited for the game and hope it will go well for us and bring two points tomorrow.”
Ben Fattal is optimistic: “I am rising after Zuckerman in the hope that he will bring us the first point. I feel good after a good training week and with the help of God we will bring the two points tomorrow.”
