Holon shooting event: “We saw a young man lying on the floor. All red”

Witnesses tell of the incident in which a 19-year-old young man, who sustained moderate to severe injuries, was shot

On Tuesday night, around 11:30 pm, a young man, aged 19, was shot in the upper body of Kiryat Shmona Street. The shots were fired from a black vehicle that was speeding on the scene. “We saw a black vehicle, we heard screams and suddenly we heard a bunch of gunshots,” eyewitnesses said.

After the young shooting fell on the scene. “He was really young. In my opinion, a boy. We picked him up and took him to the pizzeria and suddenly we saw that he had a gunshot wound. He was all red.

Luckily for the wounded, the boys who were there spotted a rescue union medic riding a scooter that passed by and calling for help. The medic immediately gave the wounded primary care until additional rescue forces arrived to evacuate the young man in moderate to severe condition at Wolfson Hospital.

Police say an investigation has begun and the background to the incident appears to be criminal.

At the scene of the shooting, there were about six bullets collected by the Department of Forensics and a Hyundai vehicle that at this stage is unknown whether the victim or the shooter belongs.
