A very tough position supported by all the members of the Committee, including WHO member Walter Ricciardi, whose opinion, it is worth repeating, is not binding. According to reliable rumors, some experts consider the blocking of schools for another 15 days in some southern regions, where the epidemic could extend in the future, and useless in other regions where instead the contagion is reduced to single limited cases.

THE TWO SPRINGS
Why then did the Council of Ministers make such a difficult decision that it puts many parents in difficulty? Pending a measure that facilitates family leave for those with underage children, there are two reasons. The first is that the percentage of infected people has been growing for some days in the order of 25% a day, which suggests that hospitals will soon be overloaded with inpatients. This is the real emergency. For this reason, a new Dpcm (Prime Ministerial Decree) was launched which, in addition to indicating the details of the closure of schools (whose offices remain open, however) and stadiums, forbids assemblies and public events in places that do not allow to maintain a space of at least one meter between people. This means that cinemas and museums will remain open but in most cases they will have to quota the entrances. the same goes for gyms and swimming pools.

PROHIBITIONS AND ADVICE
The prohibition to stay in the emergency rooms of hospitals is proposed again and limits are placed on visits to hospices or residences for the elderly. To the less young and those suffering from diseases such as cancer or diabetes that reduce their ability to defend themselves from viruses and bacteria, the government makes an appeal not to leave the house except for indispensable reasons and in any case not to frequent crowded places.
