Covid-19 was detected in 2 people in Burkina Faso.

According to reports in the national press, Health Minister Claudine Lougue stated that the corona virus test was positive in a couple who returned from France on February 24.

Minister Lougue noted that the couple over the age of 50 was quarantined at the hospital, while a person accompanying the couple on their journey was quarantined at home.

Covid-19 cases were seen in Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon, Tunisia, South Africa and Morocco as well as Burkina Faso on the African continent. The total number of corona virus cases on the continent has increased to 97.
