The situation created due to coronavirus does not find a regulatory solution neither in the FIGC regulations nor in those of the CONI.
Then he added: “If that were the case, his Lazio would end the championship in second place in the standings with Inter in third, while in the rear Brescia, Spal and Genoa would be destined for direct relegation. It would be an improbable scenario – and above all not regulated – also in light of the consideration that after the 24th day other games were played (Lazio, for example, won two in a row!). The situation that has arisen does not find a regulatory solution neither in the FIGC regulations nor in those of CONI and, therefore, in such a situation it would be necessary to rely on exceptional solutions and measures with ad hoc commissions that should also try to balance the interests of the Italian teams engaged not only in the championship but also in international competitions. At the moment I believe, however, that everything possible is being done to safeguard the regularity of this championship in the meantime with the adoption of an exception measure onale (never seen so far) consisting in having all the matches played behind closed doors until 3 April; what the future holds for us, we cannot know, but there will certainly be any further measures (hopefully not necessary!) aimed at assigning the championship to those who have really won it on the field “.
