Only 7 out of every 100 women workers are members of unions.
While the severe economic crisis experienced the most, women unemployment reached a record in 2019. TSI, according to the November 2019 unemployment data of the population over age 15, creating 31 million 288 thousand women in Turkey, in December 2019 a total of 3 million 872 thousand people registered with İŞKUR was 1 million 933 thousand women.
