Getting back on the road: it is now the greatest desire in the world forced by the limitations caused by the Covid-19 emergency. Getting back on the bike, however, also has a different value, greater for those who mean in the phrase “getting back on the bike”, also the meaning of getting back on the saddle of a motorcycle, giving vent to a passion, a desire for freedom; to have the opportunity to get to know and visit many fascinating places that, for example, a country like Italy can offer.

“Italy gets back on track”: this is what an initiative is called that will take place – probably in September – at the same time all over Italy and for which dozens of motoclubs across the peninsula to find interesting itineraries from a tourist point of view and captivating for those who love to travel the roads of Italy by motorbike to discover beauties, antiquities, monuments, landscapes and of course, the news that any territory is in can offer.

In each region, therefore, referrals of an organization are at work which makes use of the collaboration of “Tom Tom”, official partner of the initiative, who will “store” the routes studied by the regional referents in an app dedicated to the event, downloadable on every type of smartphone.

Could not miss the patronage and collaboration of the Association “The most beautiful villages in Italy” at an event that wants to be of great promotion for a major economic sector such as tourism, strongly affected by the health emergency.

In the meantime, a site (www.italiasirimetteinmoto.it), already available, is under construction, in which tour operators have the right to offer, by registering, packages created ad hoc with a link that will lead back to each of them. The same opportunity is reserved for all the activities that usually operate in the world of two wheels.

Referents for Umbria are “excited Aps motor tourists” of Perugia and for Terni the “Maxi Moto Group” motorcycle club.
