A Corona patient whose test came out positive during the Sabbath was found by ZAKA staff who found him praying outside the Knesset in his area of residence.
As with all recent Sabbaths, the Sabbath emergency call center has also been activated in cases of people who have been verified as having the Corona virus, and did not address the Ministry of Health’s telephone ring.
In Afula, on Saturday night, ZAKA volunteer Ze’ev Goldberg was sent to locate a person who had been verified as positive, but he was not at his home. The family members said he was in prayer taking place outside the synagogue.
ZAKA volunteer located the man as he prayed in the synagogue courtyard and announced that he was carrying a verified virus and that he should immediately go into isolation.
ZAKA reports that they are “calling and pleading with the ultra-Orthodox public to leave the phones open on Shabbos and holidays and answer when there is a ring. This is according to the instructions of the rabbis. It is a real mental oversight. And every moment is critical. ”
