One of the greatest players in the history of the soccer industry, the Brazilian Kaka, revealed to his followers on Instagram a tragic event that happened to him when he was 18. That event almost completely eradicated the great career he was facing when he was likely to become disabled.
In his youth Kaka slipped into the pool, landed badly on the neck and was seriously injured. At the hospital he was told he had broken his neck and there was a chance he could not walk again. Some time later, when the doctors began to recover, they told him: “You are lucky and you have to say thank you, you could stay without the ability to walk anymore.”
If the injury was more severe, the soccer world would have lost the Golden Ball winner in 2007, one of the greatest players to play in Milan and the star of Real Madrid. The Brazilian national team also suffered a severe blow in its absence.
