In Emilia-Romagna have registered since the beginning of the Coronavirus health crisis 24,209 cases of positivity, 239 more compared to yesterday, again one of the lowest increases recorded. They continue to drop significantly i active cases, namely the number of actual patients to date:-162 compared to yesterday (12,347 against 12,509).
The new healings are 357 (8,515 in total).THE tests carried out reached 156,883, +5378.
These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of institutional requests – relating to the progress of the epidemic in region.
People in solitary confinement at home also fall, that is, those with mild symptoms, who do not require hospital treatment, or are free of symptoms: overall they reach 8,558, 18 fewer than yesterday. Patients in intensive care they are 246 (-18 compared to yesterday). And those hospitalized also decrease in the other Covid departments (-89).
The people healed overall rise to 8,515 (+357): 2,557 “clinically healed”, that is, they have become asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, and 5,958 those declared cured in all respects because they were negative in two consecutive tests.
Unfortunately, they register 44 new deaths: 18 men e 26 women. Overall, deaths in Emilia-Romagna reached 3,347.
THE new deaths concern 9 residents in the province of Piacenza, 9 in that of Parma, 4 in that of Reggio Emilia, 3 in that of Modena, 11 in that of Bologna, none in the Imola area), 3 in that of Ferrara, 1 in the province of Ravenna, 3 in the province of Forlì-Cesena (none in the Forlì area), 1 in the province of Rimini.
These cases of positivity on the territory, which instead refer not to the province of residence but to that in which the diagnosis was made: 3,695 a Piacenza (60 more than yesterday), 3,034 a Parma (23 more), 4,552 a Reggio Emilia (32 more), 3,538 a Modena (19 more), 3,742 a Bologna (68 more), 360 positivity recorded in Imola (1 more yesterday), 885 to Ferrara (8 more). In Romagna there are a total of 4,403 (28 more), of which 969 a Ravenna (6 more), 857 a Forlì (7 more), 643 a Cesena (8 more), 1,934 a Rimini (7 more).
The hospital network: 4,582 additional beds for Covid-19 patients
From Piacenza to Rimini, the plan of reinforcement developed by the Region today it has brought to 4,582 additional beds for Covid patients 19: 4,104 ordinary (same data as yesterday) and 478 of intensive care (14 less than yesterday). In detail: 572 beds a Piacenza (including 34 for intensive care), 904 a Parma (50 intensive care units), 515 a Reggio Emilia (45 intensive care), 502 a Modena (70 intensive care), 1,101 in themetropolitan area of Bologna and Imola (142 intensive care, of which 8 in Imola), 322 a Ferrara (38 intensive care), 666 in Romagna, of which 99 for intensive care (in detail: 178 in Rimini, of which 39 for intensive care; 136 in Ravenna, of which 14 for intensive care; 24 in Faenza, to the San Pier Damiano Hospital; 97 in Lugo, 10 of which for intensive care; 89 in Forlì, 10 of which for intensive care, to which 40 ordinary beds are added in the private Villa Serena facility; 102 in Cesena, of which 26 for intensive care).
Activities of the Regional Agency for Territorial Security and Civil Protection
Personal protective equipment and sanitary equipment
From the national department, they came to the regional agency’s warehouses 100,000 surgical masks, 88,000 ffp2 masks, 100,000 Montrasio single-ply masks and, thanks to donations, 20,000 vinyl gloves, 120 protective gloves and 60 protective visors. The material will be distributed according to the needs of the regional health system. From today, materials delivered by the National Department may also come from donations. Volunteering
Friday, April 24 were 1,005 civil protection volunteers Emilia-Romagna engaged in the emergency; from the beginning of the volunteer activations, total days rose to 32,232.
As usual, the two most relevant activities are support to Municipalities for assistance to the population (including secretarial and logistics functions at the COCs), an activity that yesterday involved around 650 volunteers, including more than 100 Agesci scouts, and support to the Ausl in transport of patients with ambulances, in the transport of health samples, in the delivery of drugs (CRI and ANPAS), thanks to the involvement of 359 volunteers. Disinfection activities continue sanitation of emergency vehicles in Parma (10 volunteers) and activity at the port of Ravenna where a shift of volunteers is in charge of measuring the temperature of transporters.
To the previous numbers, the i 31 volunteers Operators of the National Alpine Association (Ana) of Emilia-Romagna who are covering the shift from 18 to 25 April – today the last day – at the rescuers camp set up near theBergamo hospital, the coordination activities of Rimini which sets up a tent near the structure already assembled at the hospital of San Marino; the adaptation of a structure in the sanitation area at the ANPAS headquarters in Vignola; and FederGEv’s activity of handling a module already positioned at the Maggiore hospital in Bologna.
Voluntary healthcare workers from other regions
Since the beginning of the emergency, three contingents of nurses have arrived in Emilia-Romagna for a total of 54 operators and four of doctors (total 56).
Pre-triage points
There are 33 pre-triage points active in Emilia-Romagna (11 in front of prisons, 22 for hospitals and clinics). A new drive through station is under construction at the University campus of Parma. I’m this way, 13 the structures prepared with the Agency’s competition and of the provincial coordinations of the civil protection voluntary service to carry out verification swabs to those who are on the mend: there have been stations in Parma, Castelnovo ne ‘Monti (RE), Guastalla (RE), two in Modena, Bologna, for some time now Imola (BO), Cesena (FC), Forlì (FC), Bagno di Romagna (FC), Rimini (RN) and Faenza (RA). Structures that are added to all the others present on the regional territory set up by the Healthcare companies.
