The tightening of activities imposed by the government on citizens, workers and businesses has effectively stopped the country’s economic activity. A huge cost especially for companies that remain closed and are still forced to pay their employees’ salaries. So the government granted the Redundancy Fund. Excellent thing but unfortunately the bureaucracy has a long time. So here is the solution to speed up payments: 1400 euros on the account workers entitled to the IGC, anticipated by the banks.
1400 euros on arrival directly to the account. Banks anticipate the IGC
For start the exemption layoff mechanism the employer must request it with the Covid-19 reason. With the employee’s suspension from zero-hour work, the provision provides for the request for direct payment by INPS. But the times are not very tight, we have seen what happened only for access to the site for the request for the 600 euro bonus. In the meantime, those who have a family must eat, pay for electricity, gas. If the money is slow to arrive how to do it? So the solution is to pay directly to the account of workers in CIG an advance of 1400 by banks. These advance the amount and then get reimbursed by INPS.
What to do to get the advance on the account
The advance, which is then a loan, of the banks on the amount that INPS will then have to pay, came thanks to an agreement between the unions and theItalian Banking Association (ABI). This agreement provides that the advance of the service must be requested directly from the bank. Therefore it is not an automatic procedure but it is at the discretion of the worker to activate it at his request. The agreement guarantees, to those entitled to it, economic coverage for at least seven months, a period that INPS could use to pay the IGC. As long as INPS is unable to pay the worker directly, the bank will advance the wages, with a maximum of 6,500 euros. And without any interest or additional expense.
