The victim is Lorena Quaranta, originally from Agrigento, a medical student at the University of Messina. The killer is Antonio De Pace, from Vibo Valentia, also a medical student: he attempted to commit suicide, trying to cut his veins, but first he called 112 to confess his gesture.
