Redundancy fund, parental leave and babysitting bonus: INPS has published the circulars with the operating procedures for requesting some of the main measures envisaged by the Italian care decree to support workers and families. The INPS makes it known with a note. INPS clarifies what are the criteria for simplified access to the layoffs and for requesting parental leave for children at home due to the epidemiological emergency.
Circular 47/2020 provides for simplified access for companies to the ordinary treatment of layoffs (Cigo), to the Ordinary Check and to the Cig n derogation, with the reason “National COVID 19”. For Cigo and the ordinary check, it will not be necessary to demonstrate the non-attributability and temporariness of the event or communicate the date of resumption of the activity. For the Cigo and the ordinary check, no technical report will be required and, for the ordinary check, it will not be necessary to fill in the causal form. These interventions may have a maximum duration of 9 weeks for periods ranging from 23 February to 31 August 2020.
