Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged yesterday (Sunday) with the right-wing party leaders not to compromise negotiations with Benny Gantz nor to entrust control of the judiciary to a white-blue committee.

Netanyahu also pledged to talk with Ministers Naftali Bennett and Bezalel Smutrich to insist that he have a free hand in promoting sovereignty over the entire settlement in Judea and Samaria without any restrictions.

The conversation made it clear that Gantz’s people had returned to them from all the summaries previously reached for the dissolution of blue and white on these issues and presented the red lines of the right-wing bloc in negotiations, including the right to veto in the Judiciary Committee.

“We are strengthening the prime minister’s hands by insisting on the red line of the right-wing bloc in the area of sovereignty and the appointment of judges.

“Gantz must abide by the summaries reached on the matter and remember that he heads a minority party of 17 MKs against Netanyahu who heads a 59-seat bloc,” the party added.
