Samsung is gradually distributing the software update that introduces the One UI 2.1, the new version of its proprietary interface, to all its latest devices. This, however, seems to include something new that could not everyone likes.
In fact, it seems that Samsung devices updated to One UI 2.1 do not offer plus the possibility of backup and restore of the customizations set on the Samsung keyboard: this type of functionality is very convenient in case you switch to a new device and you want to quickly restore the personalized settings related to the virtual keyboard. The relative option to enable the synchronization of the Samsung keyboard miss right at the level of Samsung Cloud.

Samsung did not provide particular details regarding the removal of this feature, it is likely that it will reintroduced in one of the next updates of the One UI 2.1. It remains difficult to imagine a reason why the South Korean manufacturer wants to permanently remove it.
