The Barilla Group is close to Italy that resists and to its territory: following the donations to support the emergency, the company wanted to express its closeness and thanks to the # italiacheresiste, also through an emotional video that will be on air on the main national TV stations starting from Sunday 5 April. A special message, which wants to be sincere thanks from the company to all those who are making their contribution to continue to make the country live in a time of difficulty.
An immense “Thank You” through the words born from the collaboration with Holden Studios, the creative laboratory of the most authoritative writing and storytelling school in Italy: the Holden School.
The voice of the spot has been entrusted to those who, for a lifetime, have told Italianity in the world spontaneously and with great pride: Sophia Loren. An icon that embodies the Italian spirit, its beauty, its excellence, the desire to do and to be able to help. A project in which the actress – sharing the spirit and the message – said she was immediately involved and for this reason she wanted to take part, in a completely pro bono way, to transmit through her unmistakable voice her closeness and her sincere affection for Italy and its people, in this difficult and delicate moment.
Barilla, therefore, addresses its message of closeness and thanks, first of all, to doctors and nurses, who face the emergency on the front line, but also to pharmacists, cashiers, workers, transporters and to the whole food chain that, every day they dedicate to the good of the country and its people. There are those who look after the sick in the hospital, those who take care of the family at home; those who work in the factory, those who work at home from behind a PC; there are those who study to find a cure, those who make drawings to hang on the balcony; all united by the same desire to be able to help overcome this difficult moment together.
The video message, born with the collaboration of the Publicis Italia agency, intertwines the notes rearranged for Vangelis’ orchestra – one of the most famous and beloved melodies related to Barilla -, with images of places and faces of our beautiful country, which remind us who we are and why it is worth resisting.
