The police investigation into the matter began about a month ago, after a complaint of suspected sexual offenses was committed. Investigators began an intensive investigation during which three victims were found who also allegedly committed sex offenses.
About three weeks ago, police forces arrested the suspect and he was taken for questioning. Since then, his arrest has been extended several times in Petah Tikva court. Last Thursday, the prosecutor’s office decided to file a prosecutor’s statement against the suspect, and will later be indicted. At the same time, police have sought to extend the suspect’s arrest until the end of the legal proceedings.
