After release: Naama Issachar, who returned home after being imprisoned in Russia for a period of about 10 months after being sentenced to nine years in prison, will file a lawsuit with her lawyers, claiming that her basic rights were revoked during her jail term, Friday Her lawyers.
Her attorneys will appeal to the Human Rights Court with the court’s conviction of the court case in which she was sentenced, and the Moscow Regional Court’s verdict will allege that numerous flagrant violations of her rights were committed while in prison in Russia, in addition to being jailed for being innocent.
“Once the preparations are complete, the claims will be submitted to the first seat of the European Court of Human Rights,” her lawyers said. “The fact that Yisacher was pardoned and acquitted of her crimes does not mean that she was finally compensated for the blatant violations of her human rights,” added a statement to media advocates Vadim Klyugant, Alexei Dobrinin and Valerie Zinchenko.
