When the sub-sectors of the industry (2015 = 100 reference years) are analyzed, the mining and quarrying sector index was 9.8% in December 2019 compared to the same month of the previous year, the manufacturing industry sector index was 9.1% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector index increased by 0.3%.
INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INCREASED MONTHLY 1.9%
When the sub-sectors of the industry are analyzed, the mining and quarrying sector index increased by 4.1%, the manufacturing industry sector index by 1.9% and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector index increased by 0.8% in December 2019.
INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INCREASED BY 5.8% FROM THE SAME QUARTER OF THE PREVIOUS YEAR
Industrial production adjusted for calendar effect increased by 5.8% in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 1.5% compared to the previous quarter.
