Ben Broeders breaks his Belgian pole vault record and qualifies for the Tokyo Olympics

Ben broeders broke the Belgian pole vault record by passing 5m80 (on the first try) from the pole competition at the Liévin meeting. He qualified for the same occasion for the Tokyo Olympics. Broeders broke his own record which was 5m76 and dated June 2019.

His competition ended there since he failed at 5m90 but the Belgian completely succeeded his evening with a very important qualification.
