The baby’s condition improved three weeks ago last night at Soroka Hospital after the alarm in Sderot. It is now set to mild to moderate and is expected to undergo further tests during the day.

MDA paramedics Nathaniel Yamin and Alex Schmiss said: “When we arrived, we saw a three-week-old baby in her father’s arms. She was vaguely conscious and had a head injury. We gave them medical treatment and urgently evacuated them to the hospital with the baby being in moderate to severe condition and the mother in easy condition. We were told they fell down the stairs of the house when they ran into the protected space at the time of the alarm. ”
In response to the shooting, airstrikes and fighter jets attacked terrorist targets and an underground site to produce Hamas weapons in the southern Gaza Strip. An IDF spokesman said: “These are targets whose attacks constitute a detriment to the Hamas terrorist organization’s ability to grow.”
