The total value of the players ’contracts amounted to one billion and 702 million Saudi riyals, according to the figures announced by the Professionalism and Players’ Status Committee for the contracts concluded during the summer and winter transfers for the current sports season in Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday, the Saudi Football Association published a statement in which it revealed the numbers of contracts during the two contracting periods, as the total value of the players ’contracts during the first registration period amounted to one billion and 307 million riyals, for 769 players registered during that period, including 502 contracts For Saudi players, 211 for foreign professionals, 56 for newborns.

The Saudi Federation stated that the highest nationality contracted during the summer transfer period is Saudi Arabia “502”, then the Tunisian “37” and thirdly the Brazilian “35”.

With regard to past winter transfer numbers, the total value of contracts amounted to 394 million Saudi riyals, with a transfer fee of 59 million riyals, for 341 players who were registered in the second registration period.

The number of Saudi players registered by the clubs reached 186, compared to 73 for foreigners, and 42 players were born.

According to the published figures, the average value of contracts for Saudi players in the excellent class amounted to one million and 930 thousand riyals, and 6 million and 400 thousand riyals for foreigners, compared to 365 thousand riyals for newborns.
