It is alert for the presence of plastic fragments (blue) inside the canned tuna in olive oil. The alarm started from Malta, which immediately withdrew the product from the market. In the crosshairs it is the Rio Mare brand and, more specifically, the pack of 3 metal cans of 160 g each, wrapped in a cardboard wrapper (Tmc: 31/12/2023; Lot number: L19161).

Among the suspicious Italian imports to other countries there is also raw ham. This time it is Belgium to report the presence alert Listeria monocytogenes (presence / 25 g) in chilled raw ham from Italy, packaged in Belgium (Product name: Italiaanse ham in 125g pack; Brand: Charles; Expiration date: 27/01/2020: Lot number: 600350).
