"Valentino Rossi's Ranch is really special"

Dominique Aegerter, who from 2020 will race in MotoE after a decade in Moto2, talks about his experience at Valentino Rossi's Ranch.

Dominique Aegerter was invited for the third time to the 100 KM of the Ranch in Tavullia, in the stronghold of Valentino Rossi. Last November the sixth edition of the competition was held and among the 42 drivers was also the Swiss driver. The 29 year-old, after ten seasons in Moto2, from next year will attempt the adventure in MotoE with Intact GP. The weekend spent at Valentino Rossi's Ranch is an unforgettable experience: "IS It was a great honor for me again".

Paired with Luca Ottaviani, Dominique Aegerter took part in the 100 KM of the Champions and got the tenth place. In the Saturday 'Americana' challenge, he finished in 14th place. But beyond the final standings there remains the possibility of being able to confront many colleagues and friends. "The possibilities of training on his ranch are enormous. Even at this time of the year you can work out great with the bike. During the day it was around ten degrees and in the evening it was lit up", Said the former MV Agusta Forward pilot. "We meet often during a season. But during this event you are always close to Valentino and you can exchange a few words. It is something very special".

Aegerter would like a similar structure in his Switzerland, where he can train at least once a week. "Apart from the length, the Tavullia track is incredibly challenging. It also brings a huge advantage when training in a group. You can see it from the VR46 pilots, who push each other during the tests and always run a race between them – added the Swiss driver -. Kids are almost always at the top, even if it's just a daily workout. Overall, it was a great experience for me again. Therefore, I wish to once again thank all the parties involved for the invitation and hospitality".
