Guede is detained in the Viterbo prison where he has already served 12 of the 16 years of imprisonment that were inflicted on him (with the abbreviated rite) for the murder of the English student, performed in Perugia in November 2007 (and to which one is always proclaimed a stranger while admitting the presence in the house of the crime).
Last September, the Rome surveillance court had granted him semi-freedom, thanks to which he can collaborate with the Viterbo Criminological Studies Center. According to those who meet him every day at work, Guede would have shown "renewed enthusiasm and the usual quality".
