From Bonci to Bottura, category by category, the best 200 Italian restaurants

Two hundred restaurants, Italy all in one photograph, "a cross-section of valid and truthful Italian catering". This is 50 Top Italy, the free guide dedicated to Italian catering presented on 2 December at Teatro Eliseo of Rome. A meeting between the culture of which the Elysium is a temple and the gastronomic one that tells the most pop and truer Italy, that of tastes and traditions. Two hundred restaurants surveyed by the guide, available online, divided into four categories: Low Cost, Trattorias, Restaurants within 120 euros and Restaurants over 120 euros. The highest podium steps see how the winners are rewardedOsteria Francescana, in Modena, l'Argine a Vencò, in Dolegna del Collio (GO), theAntica Osteria del Mirasole, in San Giovanni in Persiceto (BO) and ill Bonci Bakery, in Rome for the Low Cost category. A composite world that lives on the relationship with the earth and with the different local peculiarities, while "the rest is done by the work, passion, skills and inspiration of women and men of this sector. The division into categories of the guide also demonstrates the will to propose a project on the reader's side ”.

The project signed LSDM (historical congress of fine cuisine) saw 130 inspectors on the field, who worked in total anonymity and following a yardstick in which great importance was given to service and hospitality, "fundamental elements of a restaurant attentive to the own clientele ", as also underlined some of the special prizes awarded during the presentation on 2 December. On this wave it was in fact thought the Valsugana Brewery Award Contemporary Room 2020 given to Giuseppe Palmieri, maître and sommelier of the Osteria Francescana, as well as the Olitalia Italian Hospitality Award in the World 2020 to the Don Alfonso 1890 Toronto (Canada) (second in the World of 50 Top Italy, presented in October) and the Emme Typical Products Hospitality 2020 Award went to the Baglioni Hotels.
