The bad weather absolutely not giving up on the boot: the intense disturbance that Italy has reached is insisting on the country today, Saturday 16 November, and things will not change much for tomorrow, Sunday 17 November. The Civil Protection has issued several weather alerts for the different Italian regions. This is the situation:

Bad weather, in Tuscany from 18 new orange alert

Orange code for rains, thunderstorms, strong winds and storm surges throughout Tuscany with the exception of the northwest, where the code is yellow. This was issued by the Regional Civil Protection Operations Room, starting from 6 pm today, Saturday 16 November, due to hydro-geological risk and subsequently hydraulic risk. The duration is scheduled until 12 or midnight tomorrow, Sunday 17, depending on the areas and phenomena envisaged. From today afternoon, the precipitations will intensify starting from the southern areas of the region, where in the evening the precipitations can assume a strong intensity. The rains will continue Sunday on almost all of Tuscany, stronger, locally, always in the southern areas. Even thunderstorms, both today and tomorrow, will tend to be more intense in southern areas. As for the wind, it is expected to rise rapidly from late this afternoon to the south, even with violent gusts. On Sunday the strong wind will blow across the region.

Red alert in the province of Pordenone, called the crisis committee

The Vice President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, with responsibility for Civil Protection, Riccardo Riccardi announces that a warning of a red alert will be issued shortly in the province of Pordenone for hydrogeological risk. At 6.30 pm the Crisis Committee was convened in the Operations Center of the Civil Protection of Palmanova, to be chaired by the President of the Region Massimiliano Fedriga and by Riccardi himself. The Civil Protection is mobilized with the technicians and volunteers of the Municipal Groups to deal with any crisis situations.

Civil protection Lazio: alert as of this afternoon and for 24 hours Rome

"The Regional Functional Center announces that the Department of Civil Protection has today issued a notice of adverse weather conditions indicating that from today afternoon, Saturday 16 November, and for the following 18-24 hours, rainfall is expected to continue in Lazio widespread, even with a backhand or temporal nature. Sardinia, yellow alert for thunderstorms until tomorrow

In Sardinia the yellow alert (ordinary) for hydro-geological risk was triggered in the afternoon. Until tomorrow at 14.00 there will be thunderstorms, also very intense, which will move from the south of the island to the rest of the territory. The Regional Civil Protection has issued a warning of adverse weather conditions even for strong gusts of wind.

Yellow weather alert extended in Campania

The Civil Protection of the Campania Region has extended the weather alert currently in force with a deadline of 20 tonight, until the same time on Sunday, extending the yellow criticality for hydrogeological risk located to the whole region. In fact, scattered precipitations are expected, even with a reverse or temporal local character, locally even intense. Strong south-east winds are still associated with this picture, especially along the coastal strip, resulting in rough seas and storm surges along the exposed coasts. The Civil Protection recommends to the competent authorities to "keep active or put in place all the measures necessary to prevent and combat the phenomena expected both with regard to hydrogeological risk and windy stress".

Coldiretti: Po level increased by 1.5 meters in 24 hours. Tens of millions of damages

"The Po has swollen about 1.5 meters in the last 24 hours under the pressure of the storms that have struck without respite".
