Seven live walled cats in an apartment building. The complaint is from Rinaldo Sidoli, spokesman of the Alliance of Popular Ecologists (Ape). It happened in Rossano Calabro (Cosenza) where the administrator of a condominium would have given the authorization to close a cavity with bricks and cement where the cats had taken refuge following, probably, to the complaints of some condominiums. The wall was then demolished by Valeria Converso, a volunteer, along with her mother. "After the serious incident, no note of apology appeared from those who manage the building. A warning notice has been posted against those who favor the presence of animals. A very serious fact, they could die in atrocious suffering»Explains Sidoli.

Serial accumulator of felines: the house with 70 cats is a horror one

"We will go all the way and we expect the authorities in their turn to do all they can to prevent similar violence from happening again – concludes Sidoli – We urge Parliament to urgently approve the DDL S. 1078 signed by Senator Gianluca Perilli (M5S ) to guarantee justice to animals as sentient beings. The time has come for politics to listen to the growing sensitivity to respect for biodiversity by translating promises into facts».
