Under 19, qualifying for the European Championships: first call for Esposito

Sebastiano Esposito dresses again in blue, this time to represent the National Under 19 team. The Inter player, who remained at the disposal of Antonio Conte, losing his flight to the Brazilian Under-17 World Cup, is among the 20 summoned by coach Alberto Bollini for the first phase of qualifying for the European Championship category. The striker of Castellammare di Stabia, the only 2002 class of the group, then continues his work in the Italian national youth teams after having dressed the shirts of the Under-15s, Under-16s, Under-17s and Under-18s.

Entered in Group 6, Italy will be able to use the home factor to conquer one of the two places that give access to the Elite phase (the best third of the 13 groups also qualifies): the National team will make its debut in the continental tournament against Malta on Wednesday 13 November in Misano Adriatico, Saturday 16 will face the age of Cyprus in Santarcangelo di Romagna and Tuesday 19 will play the last meeting of the group in Misano Adriatico against Slovakia. After the two finals achieved in the last four years, the one lost clearly (4-0) in 2016 against Kylian Mbappe's France and the extra-time defeat in 2018 with the same age of Portugal, the Azzurrini in Armenia last July failed to pass the final round, defeated first by Portugal and then by Spain.
