Three women accused Gordon Sondland, US ambassador to the European Union, of sexual harassment according to an authoritative online newspaper ProPublica. The three women who accuse Sondland have decided to leave that ProPublica published their identity, as well as a detailed account of the alleged harassment; and they said that Sondland, after being refused, took professional revenge with them. Sondland said the accusations are completely unfounded, and they are an attempt by the three women to take revenge for his professional decisions against them.

Sondland is a very rich entrepreneur from Portland, active mainly in the hotel sector, and a financier for years of many Republican Party politicians, including President Donald Trump, to whose electoral committee he donated a million dollars. For this reason, Trump rewarded him by appointing him as ambassador of the United States to the European Union, a position that recently led him to the center of the impeachment proceedings. Last week, contradicting what he had said only a few days before, Sondland admitted that President Trump used the power of the institution he held to put pressure on the Ukrainian government to damage his political rival, Joe Biden. Sondland's lawyers said that the accusations made against him by women have "political reasons" and are meant to intimidate him. ProPublica he said he began investigating these allegations in October, before Sondland accused Trump in the House.

Nicole Vogel, editor of the magazine Portland Monthly, said he met Sondland in 2003, while he was looking for people willing to invest in his publishing company. After inviting her to dinner, Sondland told her that he would invest in the company and then take her to one of his hotels, telling her he wanted to show her a room. Once inside, Sondland would take her face with her hands and kiss her against his will. Vogel would then leave the room, and Sondland a few days later he would tell her he was no longer interested in the investment.

Jana Solis, who worked in an insurance company that sold hotel and restaurant policies in 2008, said that during a business lunch with Sondland he told her that he had decided to become his client. On leaving the restaurant he would slap her on the ass and invite her to his house to show her his collection of works of art; then he would have left saying he had to use the bathroom and he would be naked from the waist down. Then she would go away. On another subsequent occasion, Sondland would have kissed Solis against his will. Eventually Sondland retracted the commitment to purchase the policy.

Natalie Sept, who worked in the staff of a local Portland politician, said she met Sondland at breakfast in one of her hotels in 2010, and talked to him about projects and opportunities for real estate development in the city. Then Sondland invited her to dinner, in an unprofessional and very romantic context, and offered to drive her when she, feeling uncomfortable, decided to go home; in the car Sondland would have tried to kiss her. None of the projects initially discussed would then materialize.

In short, this impeachment of Trump?
