The K-Klass reopens after the forced closure "Enough: more controls at the entrances"

Tavernerio's K-Klass reopens tomorrow.

He was shut down by the police for ten days after a 15-year-old girl felt sick outside the club for drinking too much. She had been the same owner, Emanuela Pecora, to call for help and she herself had publicly announced the provision of the police station. The restaurant, which opens only on Friday and Saturday nights, has been closed for two weekends in a row.

"Let's reopen with DJs Nicola Zucchi and the Masked party, there will be all the fluo disco, we want it to be like a second inauguration – the owner says – that the boys have fun, not that they come to drink until they are sick ».

Business resumption

"It has always been our goal – he adds – to entertain them, but that girl came in with false documents. His deception cost us and the guys who work with us. So now we increase the controls, I will also be at the entrance to look at the documents and we asked the police station to help us with what happens outside ".

The owner, who this year manages the K-Klass with her partner Umberto Barca, explains what will change from this weekend.

Precautions

«It must never happen again that those who are 15 years old manage to enter. Those who are 16-17 years old pass, but will not have the bracelet so they will not be able to drink. In addition we will introduce glasses of two different colors fuchsia for alcohol and white for non-alcohol. We will put more men at the counter and even outside, because often the boys arrive already drunk after buying the bottles at the supermarket, they have also talked about it at the police station and have seen the images for this we have asked for help to them too ».

The police headquarters had also ordered the closure of the Libe of Como (formerly Made) where there had been other cases of boys who had ended up in the hospital for drinking too much.

"It happened to us only once," says the owner of K-Klass, "but I'm not looking for excuses." Even if we have been deceived we have made mistakes and it no longer has to happen. But I also have to say that faults are not all discos. There have been cases of minors who have felt bad about alcohol even during the day at the park. It is very difficult to deal with these guys who want to drink to hurt themselves because they will always try to rip us off. But it's not even fair to let us pass for those who give alcohol to minors. Apart from that as a mother I was touched in the first person and in my opinion alcohol is the scourge of our days, but then we are entrepreneurs we want the people in the disco to be well with us ».

This is why there will be the Masked party tomorrow and the rapper will be there on Saturday Fred De Palma.

«Ever since we took over management they have tried to create events for older kids – the owner concludes -, who may even come from Milan, we want them to dance, to have fun. Our staff tries hard to ensure that everything goes smoothly and I want to thank everyone who works with me for their efforts. But given what happened we took all the precautions. We will also have a Red Cross ambulance outside, hoping there is no need to use it ".
