That was the culmination of the Z series. The culmination of the entire and mammoth work of Toriyama. The saga that, according to the initial plans, should have been the conclusion to the whole universe of Dragon Ball. Instead we know that then it has continued, there have been many other epic sagas that did not make us regret much the final failure to close, up to Super. Controversial series e much debated by fans. Some would have preferred never been realized, others instead defend it claiming that, after all, it is not so bad.
However, as you can see it, only one thing remains certain and it unites, almost certainly, all the fans of the series: the battle of Goku against Freezer on Namek. The moment the Saiyan brings out all his hidden potential because of anger and becomes the legendary warrior, the strongest in the entire universe (at least there, then things change radically).
And just to commemorate and honor this beautiful saga that a user, beyond9thousand, shared a fan art by the artist on Reddit BigMac996 that, with a particular style and perhaps unusual to see for the series of Dragon Ball, traces the moment when our hero, transformed into Super Saiyan following the departure of his friend Krillin, throws a furious punch at Freezer pecking him in the face.
As you can see from the drawing at the bottom of the article, the work has a very realistic style. The movements are reproduced with great effectiveness so as to confer dynamism to the whole scene, just as the shot suffered by Freezer and the aching face: with clenched teeth and saliva splashing from the mouth. A truly remarkable illustration.
