Genova. Faiallo, Monte Penna, Prato Cipolla, Campo Ligure, Rovengo, Santo Stefano: all the main ones "Snow places" arrived punctually at the appointment with the bows provided by the yellow snow warning in effect until 12 today.
Several centimeters of snow have in fact covered the Apennine passes and the mountains of our hinterland, thanks to a drastic drop in temperatures and the heavy rains of these hours: a "wet" snow that probably won't have long life, and that, indeed, could complicate the fragile hydrogeological balance of our mountains, already put to the test by these very long weeks of practically continuous rain.

Further snowfalls are expected in the coming days: at least thirty centimeters of cumulation will be possible in the next 24-48 hours in the Levante hinterland, in Val D’Aveto, where, as we know, winter always comes first, and often does not knock.
