The dismay and the closeness of three communities for the death of Diletta, Anna and Daniele VIDEO

The entire Alto Vicentino is astonished and speechless after the drama that was consumed in the night in themotorway A13 Bologna-Padua, where an entire young family from Vicenza died in an accident: Anna Pieropan, mother of 29 years; Daniele Minati, dad of 32 and their little one Diletta, a baby girl of only five months. Even the social networks, which usually face some misfortune with comments, are almost silent, so great is the consternation for what happened.

The very violent crash, around midnight between Bologna Interporto and Altedo: their motorhome was first buffered by a Ford Fiesta driven by a Neapolitan novice driver, then it was overwhelmed by a bus that was arriving, on board of which there was a group of boys from Pordenone returning from Lucca.

The couple died instantly after the impact of the bus that destroyed their vehicle, a Fiat Ducato van used as a camper van, with which they were probably returning home. The medical staff of 118 tried for a long time, in vain, to revive the newborn.

Daniele Minati and Anna Pieropan had married in August 2017 and lived in Tavernelle di Isola Vicentina. Anna she is described as an extremely smart girl: she was responsible for the sector of cultural mediation (reception of asylum seekers) at the social cooperative ConTe of Quinto Vicentino, where she worked until she remained at home on maternity leave for the birth of little Diletta , which took place at the end of May.

His family, devastated by mourning, lives in Schio, in the Santa Croce district: people strongly involved in social issues: the father Luigi, after a career as a physiotherapist he served as a volunteer at the social cooperative Orsa Maggiore in Malo, while the brother Matteo he is operator of the Verlata social cooperative of Villaverla, where until recently, exactly like Anna, he was involved in the reception of migrants. The other brother, Stefano "Piter", he is well known for having told of his cohabitation with multiple sclerosis – of which he has been suffering since 2007 – in two books and in the short film "Contando le formiche" by Giuliano Cremasco, also winner of the Rome Short Film Festival. Anna had studied political sciences at the University of Padua and then also obtained a master's degree, already working, last year at the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice in Labor Social Citizenship and Culture with full marks, in July of Last year. "Anna was a sunny person and full of life" recalls the councilor of Schio in tears Barbara Corzato, his study partner at the University of Padua.

Daniele Minati he was originally from Sovizzo and worked in the social health sector, after studying veterinary medicine. The great love with Anna, born during her university years, was crowned by marriage, in July 2017 and then by the birth, on 31 May, of the small Diletta, joy not only of parents but also of grandparents and uncles. "The whole community of Isola Vicentina is dismayed and huddled around the families of Anna and Daniele – the mayor of Isola Vicentina comments, Francesco Gonzo – that despite having arrived here two years ago from other municipalities, they immediately integrated and were an active part of the Torreselle community. During the electoral campaign someone on my list had the opportunity to talk to us, and they had told us that the choice to live in the hills and just in Isola was also a return to the origins, since both had relatives from here. I am already in contact with the mayors of Schio and Sovizzo, Orsi and Garbin, because there is an intention to declare the city mourning ".

The loss of a child is the greatest tragedy that can affect a person's life. A pain, a wound from which it is difficult to get up to look ahead. I hope Anna, Daniele and Diletta can comfort them where they are now and watch over them all ”. This evening the unfortunate family has already been remembered in a vigil at Sovizzo, while tomorrow evening a vigil is scheduled in the parish church of Isola Vicentina and moments of remembrance are also planned in Schio.
