The arrest of Nicosia, the deputy Occhionero at the pm: "I got it all wrong"

It was heard by magistrates for two and a half hours the Italian deputy living Giusy Occhionero, convened by the Dda of Palermo who, yesterday, arrested with the accusation of mafia association Antonello Nicosia, parliamentary collaborator of the woman. According to rumors, Occhionero, felt as a person informed about the facts, would have been very tried.

Leaving the room of the Pm Francesca Dessì, the MP said: "I said everything there was to say". In addition to Dessì, the interrogation was conducted by the addition Paolo Guido and the prosecutor Geri Ferrara. At the end Occhionero was reached by the lawyer Giovanni Bruno.

In particular Occhionero he had to report on relations with Antonello Nicosia, former parliamentary assistant of the political exponent and with a militancy among the Italian Radicals, stopped by the Dda of Palermo with the accusation of mafia association and of having conveyed the messages of the bosses met in prison thanks to that job.

"I was wrong, I trusted. I got it all wrong". The deputy of Italia Viva, and ex Leu, Giuseppina Occhionero, would have repeated this several times. Occhionero told prosecutors that Nicosia came from the environment of associations that dealt with the rights of prisoners, reiterating that they "therefore trusted" also in virtue of the personal relationship that had been created. To the prosecutors who asked how it was possible to hire a collaborator who had a 10-year sentence for drug trafficking, the deputy said that "there is no control in the Chamber, what should I have done?"
In May, the relationship between Nicosia and Occhionero is interrupted at the behest of the latter. The investigation also continues to verify the ways in which the racks are engaged by the deputies.

Between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow the guarantee interviews of the 5 detainees of the «Passepartout» operation should take place before the investigating judge who must then comment on the validation of the provision.
