Terrible accident in A21 between a car and a Tir: a victim

Terrible incident today, Wednesday November 13, shortly after 4pm, between a car and a truck. The crash was very violent and the car, with German registration, caught fire. Nothing to do for the man at the wheel, a 50 year old still to be identified. The accident occurred in the San Gervasio area in the section between Manerbio and Robecco-Pontevico. Still to clarify the dynamics of the accident, caused either by an illness or a distraction. When the truck driver, who was traveling in the right lane, noticed the impact and the flames that flared up, he got out to detach the trailer from the tractor and avoid a possible explosion. To allow the rescue operations, for hours the stretch of highway between Cremona and Brescia Sud towards Brescia was closed, causing slowdowns and long queues.
