Still bad weather or not, during the week? Mazzoleni tells us, with the photos of Luciano Milan

Our Peninsula until Friday will still be exposed to the Atlantic undulating flow, which will favor the transit of disturbed systems, especially in the north, on the Tyrrhenian coast, in Sardinia and in Sicily, while the medium-low Adriatic coast will benefit from a relatively more stable time. Starting from the weekend we will then be involved in a relatively high pressure field, finding ourselves between a low-pressure circulation active in the Atlantic and an anticyclonic structure on Eastern Europe, which will also touch our Peninsula. The result will be stable weather conditions over most of the regions, with formation of low clouds along the coasts and low clouds and mists on the lowland areas. Only in the southern peninsular and on the two major islands will there be greater instability and some occasions for precipitation. We see below in more detail the evolution that I imagine, as always with exclusive reference to the areas here between east Piedmont, west Lombardy and canton Ticino.

Monday 18 night from deck to very cloudy for medium-low clouds. In the morning and in the afternoon, only sunny weather, with cloudy to cloudy skies for extended passages of medium-low clouds, with flashes of blue. In the evening further increase in cloudiness and passage to the sky from very cloudy to overcast due to medium-low clouds, with weak snowfall in the Alps and pre-Alps over 1000/1300 meters and even at altitudes of a few hundred meters lower in Valsesia, Ossola valleys and Ticino, locally up to the valley bottom. Drizzles or weak widespread and intermittent rains in the plains and in the Apennines, with snow on the relative peaks.

Tuesday 19 in the night, in the morning and in the afternoon from very cloudy to overcast with light or moderate rains, widespread and interspersed with pauses, even prolonged, in conjunction with which on the plain and Oltrepò you can have some fleeting sunny sunny days during the day, where the clouds will be temporarily more fragmented. In the evening overcast to overcast with weak or moderate widespread and intermittent precipitations on the hills and drizzles scattered and of short duration on the plain. Snow on the alpine, prealpine and Apennine reliefs over 1000/1300 meters and even at altitudes of a few hundred meters lower in Valsesia, Ossola and Ticino valleys, locally up to the valley bottom.

Wednesday 20 during the night very cloudy or overcast due to medium-low clouds with weak precipitations and snow on the reliefs above 1200-1500 meters and also at a few hundred meters lower in Valsesia, Ossola and Ticino valleys, with phenomena in exhaustion in the plains where present and by dawn also on the reliefs. From early / late morning, open spaces will become more and more ample blue, with a passage in time to sunny and partly cloudy, with flashes of blue in the afternoon and until sunset, which will be very suggestive and worth photographing. In the evening on all sectors the sky will be starry and from partially to very cloudy for medium-high clouds and irregular banks of low clouds, with formation of mists in banks on the middle-low plain.

Thursday night 21 in part starry and from very to partially cloudy for medium-high clouds and low irregular clouds, with formation of mists in banks on the medium-low plain. In the morning and in the early afternoon, partly sunny weather with flashes of blue and partially overcast sky for extended passages of medium-low clouds, with flashes of blue. In the late afternoon and in the evening further increase in cloudiness and transition to cloudy to overcast for medium-low clouds, with light snowfall in the Alps and Alpine foothills above 1300/1600 meters and even at altitudes of a few hundred meters lower in Valsesia, Ossola and Ticino valleys. Evening drizzle in the plains and the Apennines, with bows on the relative highest peaks.

Friday 22 in the night, in the morning and in the afternoon, cloudy to overcast with weak or moderate rains, widespread and interspersed with even prolonged pauses, at the same time on the plains and Oltrepò you may have some fleeting sunny spells during daylight hours, where the clouds will be temporarily more fragmented. In the evening overcast sky to cloudy with weak or moderate widespread and intermittent rainfall on both the hills and the plains. Snow on the alpine, pre-Alpine and Apennine reliefs above 1300/1600 meters and at altitudes of a few hundred meters lower in Valsesia, Ossola and Ticino valleys.

Saturday 23 during the night and until late morning very cloudy or overcast sky due to low-medium clouds with weak precipitations and snow on the reliefs above 1300-1600 meters and also at a few hundred meters lower in Valsesia, Ossola valleys and Ticino, with phenomena of morning exhaustion starting from Pianura and Oltrepò. From late morning / noon, open spaces will be opened up to become wider, with time passing by in sunny and heavily overcast skies with flashes of blue in the afternoon and until sunset, which will be very impressive and worth photographing. In the evening on all sectors the sky will be starry and from partially to very cloudy for high clouds and irregular banks of low clouds, with formation of mists in banks on the medium-low plain.

Sunday November 24th the weather will remain stable in an autumn context and therefore at night and in the early morning the sky will be partly starry and for a long time partially cloudy due to medium-high clouds in transit with extended stretches and for irregular banks of low clouds. Between early morning and late afternoon the weather will be partly sunny with heavily overcast skies with a flash of blue, for medium-high clouds in transit with extended stretches and for irregular banks of low-lying clouds. The evening will then be partly starry, with the sky partly cloudy to very cloudy due to medium-high clouds in transit and low irregular clouds. To report between late evening and early morning, the formation of mists in banks on the medium-low plain, where wider openings will prevail. The misty formations will then be gradually dissolved or lifted by late morning / noon where present. Rime at dawn in rural areas, river valleys, peat bogs and moors following the nights with less cloudiness.

The TEMPERATURES will remain on the whole on the whole around or just below the seasonal norm in weather conditions similar to those described. In fact, we will have at least 3 to 6 degrees on the plain between east Piedmont and west Lombardy on Monday, between 5 and 8 Tuesday, between 1 and 4 Wednesday, between 2 and 5 Thursday, between 5 and 8 Friday, between 4 and 7 Saturday and between 1 and 4 on Sunday. The maximum will generally be between 9 and 12 degrees Monday and Tuesday, between 11 and 14 Wednesday and Thursday, between 10 and 13 Friday and between 11 and 14 Saturday and Sunday.

Finally, as far as the WINDS are concerned, these will be weak and generally in a breeze regime, ie with a nocturnal component and in the early morning predominantly northern, while between late morning and late evening ventilation will be predominantly disposed from the south-eastern quadrants. Tuesdays and Fridays will be exceptions where ventilation will be predominantly eastern.
