POZZUOLI / A ridge slides along the waterfront: 22 families have been evacuated

POZZUOLI – The mayor of Pozzuoli Vincenzo Figliolia signed an order in the late evening yesterday with the precautionary measure of disposing of 22 families residing in the condominium in via Barletta 28, in the area of ​​the waterfront. The provision became necessary following the inspection carried out in the late afternoon yesterday by the fire brigade, who noted the "detachment of a large amount of land from the overhanging wall at about three meters from the building". Following the evacuation, the necessary land removal operations, verification of the structures, foundations and securing of the collapsed ridge can be carried out in order to eliminate any danger to public safety. The administration immediately turned to look for temporary accommodation for residents of via Barletta 28.
