MILAN – The personal data requirement does not move to retire old age. This is good news for some, even if it reflects the fact that life expectancy does not grow. And so the requirement for access to the old-age pension remains fixed at 67 years also in the two-year period 2021-2022, as it is now.The transition, necessary since our pension system was adapted to life expectancy, was put down by the decree of the Ministry of the Economy, published in the Official Gazette: "From 1 January 2021 the requirements for access to pensions they are not further increased ", states the text.
The increase in life expectancy at 65 is in fact 0.021 tenths of a year. "Transformed into twelfths of a year – we read – is equivalent to a variation of 0.025 which, in turn rounded in months, corresponds to a variation equal to 0".
