SITUATION. The road of the Atlantic perturbations directed towards the low latitudes of Europe, including Italy, has been definitively opened, giving life to a rainy phase for most of our regions which would also seem rather lasting. A long series of disturbances is also expected during the next week on our peninsula, with often rainy weather accompanied by sustained winds but with characteristics after all very myths. With this type of circulation the regions most involved in the bad weather will be those in the northern and in particular the Tyrrhenian ones, while the central southern Adriatic regions and the extreme South in general will remain more dry.

WEATHER MONDAY. The disturbance reached Sunday will still engage the southern regions in the first part of the day, with rains concentrated mainly on the Tyrrhenian side but with a tendency to mitigate the phenomena during the day and to clear. Time already improved over the rest of Italy with even clear spells except for irregular densities on the central-northern Tyrrhenian and residual phenomena on Friuli. From the afternoon it tends to worsen again on the Northwest, Sardinia and Tuscany with the appearance of scattered rains due to the arrival of a new Atlantic perturbation.

WEATHER UP TO HALF WEEK. The new disturbance will affect Tuesday especially Triveneto, central-northern Tyrrhenian and west Sardinia with rains and showers locally also intense near the central-eastern Alps and on Tuscany and Lazio, while on the rest of Italy the weather will remain more variable and with fewer opportunities for rainfall, the extreme South and the Northwest tend to be quite clear. On Wednesday the front will lead to the southern regions causing a deterioration while yet another Atlantic perturbation it will reach the Northwest with rains recovering in Triveneto, Sardinia and Tuscany.

WEEKLY TREND. The permanence of a trough of low pressure elongated from the Atlantic to south-western Europe will probably favor the entrance of new disturbances directed towards Italy with other rains that would alternate most of our regions until the end of the week. All in a predominantly mild thermal context, with ventilation that is always quite strong. In any case, the evolution may undergo changes in the coming days and we therefore advise you to follow the next updates.
