New wave of bad weather, alert in Sicily and Calabria closed schools

There will be days of severe weather in Sicily and Calabria that will open the new week: expected very intense thunderstorms and impetuous winds, branching orange alert for tomorrow.

There are many schools in Calabria that will not open tomorrow as per special ordinance of municipal administrations. In particular the bell will not sound in the institutes of Soverato, Borgia, Simeri Crichi, Nocera, Argusto, Caraffa, Sersale, Palermiti, Cenadi, Cardinal, Gizzeria, Isca, Montepaone, Magisano, Pentone, Cerva and Badolato (in the latter they will remain closed also Tuesday 12 November). All schools also closed in Crotone and Catanzaro.

No school also in Pozzallo, where the mayor has ordered the closure for tomorrow. It is the first Municipality of Ragusa to have adopted the provision. «Tomorrow there will be an orange alert throughout the region. Probably the critical situation will start in the afternoon but we can't risk it – said the mayor Roberto Ammatuna – I have already communicated the decision to the school managers and I recommend extreme caution to all ». The same provision also applies to Naro.

WEDNESDAY 13 NOVEMBER: in the North, marked variability on the Triveneto with intermittent phenomena and snow from 800 / 1000m, more sunny and dry in the Northwest. Steady temperatures, maximum between 12 and 16. At the Center, even large initial bleaches, but worse in Sardinia with rains and showers extending to Tuscany and upper Lazio. Temperatures in slight decline, maximum between 14 and 18.
