An operation is underway by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command and the Guardia di Finanza of Turin against the local 'ndrangheta of Volpiano and San Giusto Canavese. The military is reporting 70 precautionary custody measures for mafia association and international drug trafficking in Turin, Reggio Calabria, Milan and Catania. Six are also accused of money laundering and fraudulent transfer of values. Seized assets, current accounts and company shares.
The measures were issued by the investigating judge at the request of the DDA. 400 soldiers are involved in the operation.
