Napoli does not go beyond the 0-0 against Genoa. The Neapolitans do not need a great Dries Mertens and a Kalidou Koulibaly returned to excellent levels.

An unrecognizable Napoli equalized 0-0 at home to Genoa. The Neapolitans, during the first portion of the game, pulled only once in the mirror of the opponent's goal with Zielinski. In the second half blues closer to the goal with a header from Elmas on a cross by Hirving Lozano. Nothing more. Too little to beat a team, the Ligurian one, well organized and careful especially in the non-possession phase. The Azzurri lose two more points from Inter, which is currently first in the standings.

At the end of the match, the San Paolo audience, cold for the duration of the match, whistled loudly the team that, compact, left the field. Dries Mertens, the best of Naples together with Koulibaly, reacted by bowing his head, deeply disappointed by the surreal climate of San Paolo. A "strange" image for a soccer player who, with the shirt of the Campanians, has always distinguished himself for his contagious joy. The moment of Naples, however, is too negative and the smile has given way to a profound sadness.
