Great start for Morbidelli and Miller, but it is Vinales who immediately takes the lead after a few corners. The Yamaha centaur leads ahead of Miller, then there are Marquez and Dovizioso, already in the first positions after starting from the back, then Rossi. Surprised Quartararo, who misses the start and finds himself in the group behind.
Vinales gives an important rhythm and tries to get away from rivals, but Marquez does not let go and remains at little more than a second, more detached Dovizioso, third. Miller slips into fourth position and duels with the Doctor, who takes his place on the seventh lap.
The Yamaha fly here: Valentino Rossi feels good and reaches Dovizioso, with whom he engages the fight for third place. The Yamaha centaur seems able to overtake the Ducati rider in the slow, but on the straight Dovizioso flies away.
Vinales runs with qualifying times and holds Marquez at bay, who fails to get close: the two drivers have a big margin on the Dovizioso-Rossi pair, which definitely slow down the pace and allow Rins, fifth, to make up for it below.
The battle for the podium between Dovizioso and Rossi continues lap after lap: on the seventeenth lap the Ducati rider goes along a corner, the number 46 passes but then he is forced to fall back to third place on the straight. Behind Rins is getting closer.
No twists in the final race: Vinales imperiously cuts first, then Marquez, Dovizioso, Rossi and Rins.
