MotoGP | KTM, debut for Lecuona in Valencia – Moto

In recent days the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira he worked to resolve the problem with the ligaments in his shoulder that made the last few races really difficult. There KTM decided to appoint a replacement for the nineteenth and final engagement of the 2019 MotoGP season, choosing to make his debut Iker Lecuona.

MotoGP | Oliveira operated, back in 2020

The 2000 class centaur, a native of Valencia, will therefore be called to jump from Moto2 to MotoGP with a race in advance, having already the contract with KTM Tech3 for next season. Just in the race on the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Lecuona got his first podium in Moto2 in 2018, finishing second behind Oliveira, in what today remains his best result in the intermediate class. The Spaniard is currently eleventh in the drivers' standings.
