Tragic day on the Vicentine roads. A few hours after the accident this morning in which a cyclist lost his life, another very serious accident occurred at 13.00 on Tuesday in Via San Giovanni in Sossano. A 52-year-old man at the wheel of his 500 crashed into a truck from Orgiano.
Due to the tremendous impact the driver of the car died instantly. Unnecessary attempts to rescue medical personnel, who arrived on site with the helicopter rescue service. Unfortunately, there was nothing left for the man to do.
The dynamics of the accident is being examined by the police. From the first information the clash between the two vehicles would have occurred at the exit from a curve by the 500.
UPDATE
Luca Beggiato, the victim of the accident on Tuesday at 1pm, was a well-known property developer, owner of Immobiliare Berica di Sossano together with his wife Paola. Luca was originally from Agugliaro, where his parents live.
