CATANIA – Operation of the Carabinieri and the Turin Finance Police against the "Ndrangheta of Volpiano and San Giusto Canavese. The military notified 70 precautionary measures for mafia association and international drug trafficking in Turin, Reggio Calabria, Milan and Catania.

Among those involved there is also Pierfranco Bertolino, a well-known Turin criminal lawyer. For the lawyer, accused of aiding and abetting, the investigating judge ordered a temporary six-month ban on the army of the activity. According to the allegations, the lawyer has disclosed to some customers confidential information on ongoing investigations and interceptions.
