M ** Bun and CasaOz together for a project for young people with disabilities – PiemonteTopNews

TORINO. CasaOz is M ** Bun together, in a project for young people with disabilities. The collaboration will be presented Thursday, November 14th at 6 pm in via U. Rattazzi 4 in Turin: the occasion is to talk with the managers of CasaOz and to get to know the protagonists who will present the new magnets produced for M ** Bun to the public; magnets that will be available in the three outlets of the Turin brand and whose proceeds will be entirely donated to CasaOz.

But what is it exactly? During the year 2018/2019 ten young people from CasaOz engaged in the creation of ceramic magnets customized with the typical phrases of the M ** Bun: following them along the way was Simona Panetta, a ceramist who has been collaborating with CasaOz for years creativity. The activity is part of the project "A place for you too. Work that takes care of a system of integrated possibilities " aimed at responding to the needs of children who are growing up and their families. In particular, the project aims to help young people living with disabilities to develop alternative skills, to feel great and to find their own place in the world. The project involves the construction of cooking, sewing, manual, theater and gardening workshops that have allowed everyone to compete in different fields; it also provides for the construction of artefacts and services for a series of companies with which a collaboration has been started, so as to allow young people to understand their working abilities and to compete with a production environment that requires quality of execution and respect for the times .

The collaboration with M ** Bun, which has always been attentive to solidarity projects in the local area, is part of this. M ** Bun is the first Italian slow fast food born in Rivoli in 2009 from the experience of the Scaglia Agricultural Company which has been producing meat for three generations (with particular attention to beef from Piedmontese Breed, certified by the Coalvi consortium) and Francesco Bianco, Turin entrepreneur. In 2011 the second local was born in Turin (corso Siccardi8 / a) and in 2013 the third one always in the city center (via Urbano Rattazzi 4); today about 70 employees work in the company and M ** Bun has also opened a km0 radio (www.mbun.it).

The CasaOz association has been welcoming and supporting, for over twelve years, children and young people living in situations of illness and disability, whatever it may be, and their families. In recent years he has developed specific projects aimed at accompanying adolescents towards the age of majority. To date, it has helped around 2,300 people from over 40 countries around the world (www.casaoz.org).
